Two-Stone Toi et Moi Ring
A sapphire and a garnet facing each other across a crossover shank.
Coloured stones are natural material. Colour, tone, inclusion pattern and — on cabochons and uncut pieces — outline and size differ from one to the next. Two pieces of the same reference will not be identical.

About this piece
Two stones set on a crossover band, a nineteenth-century French setting form. The two are deliberately unlike: one is Mohs 9 corundum, one is Mohs 7 garnet, and they will not wear at the same rate — the garnet will show surface marks first. That is stated here rather than smoothed over. Total carat weight across both stones is 1.10 ct.
Total carat weight across all 2 stones: 1.10 ct. The wear grade shown for the piece as a whole is occasional, because a piece is only as forgiving as its softest stone.
